I developed the NEROPATM<\/sup> (Neutral Role Parity) method in 2016 to address the significant under-representation of women on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEROPA is used during pre-production. Ideally, a team of three carries out the NEROPA check, which results in an increase in the proportion of female roles. Subsequently, the NEROPA fine-tuning process can be used to counteract the lack of diversity in casting. The NEROPA principle can also be applied as early as the story development stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I teach my NEROPATM <\/sup>method through lectures, interactive presentations, workshops, training courses and coaching, as well as providing support during the implementation of NEROPA in a production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In NEROPA workshops, we work on scenes or entire scripts using wooden and plastic figures, colours and ways to alter the visual style of the story without compromising its core.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applying the NEROPA approach also encourages examining stereotypes and one\u2019s own unconscious biases, leading to lasting change in those who use it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This service is also specifically aimed at those outside the film and television industry. NEROPA can be used, for example, for novels, computer games, guest lists for TV and radio talk shows, product planning, website design and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
